Grant for education and training in the Slovak Republic


1. Who can apply for a scholarship?

University students who are studying in the second stage of tertiary education (according to the Bologna process of education - graduate students) for boundary of the Slovak Republic, and which one of public, private or public universities in the Slovak Republic is willing to accept for the purposes of academic mobility for training in the Slovak Republic;

Graduate students who are teaching or research work goes abroad Slovak Republic and that one of the public, private or public universities or one of the scientific - issledovatelskih organizations eligible for programs of postgraduate study in the Slovak Republic are willing to accept for the purposes of academic mobility for training in the Slovak Republic;

University professors who teach abroad Slovak Republic, and which invite one of the public, private or public universities in the Slovak Republic is willing to accept for lecturing or conducting training научно-исследовательской/художественной work in the Slovak Republic;

Research workers and workers in the arts, which is one of the public, private or state universities or one of scientific - research organizations eligible for programs graduate or non-governmental organization in the Slovak Republic, willing to take upon lecturing or conducting training научно-исследовательской/художественной work in the Slovak Republic.


2. Duration of the program

For students of 1 - 2 semesters;

Postgraduate 1 - 12 months;

For academics 1 - 12 months;

For scientific - research workers and in the arts 1 - 12 months.


3. Deadline for applications

Accepting applications two times a year: April 30 and October 31

April 30 (at 16:00 CET) - training for the next academic year.

October 31 (16.00 hours CET) - internships for the summer semester of the current academic year.


4. Required documents:

CV, a brief biography;

A letter of motivation;

Detailed training program with dates of arrival and departure, residence time (for students);

Detailed training program with dates of arrival and departure, time of stay, as well as a detailed schedule (M.Sc.);

2 letters - a recommendation from faculty members. Master degree one letter from the head for the degree.

Letter - Confirmation that the student really trained in full-time at the University for at least 6 months. M.Sc. letter - confirmation that the student actually enrolled in full-time education, graduate school.

A copy of bachelor's degree or master's degree

Phd students for a list of publications

Letter - an invitation from the university or research organization in Slovakia (on the exact period of stay). Letter - invitation to be on official letterhead, signed and sealed.


5. Financial conditions

Students receive a stipend of $ 280 per month;

Graduate students receive a stipend of $ 470 per month;

University lecturers receive financial support in the amount of 670 euros, 850 euros, 1,000 euros.

Scientific - research workers receive financial support in the amount of 670 euros, 850 euros, 1000 euros per month.
